More 2019 CAPA in the news!
For nearly two centuries, Cape Ann Massachusetts has been a destination for some of the finest painters who paint en plein air. Throughout its four picturesque seaside communities, Cape Ann Plein Air, a nationally recognized arts organization, hosted it's fourth annual week-long plein air painting competition Oct. 6th-14th. This time of year is when the famous Cape Ann light shines at its very best!
CAPA brings 40 of the finest artists in the nation to compete for over $20,000 in prizes and awards while raising awareness of all that painting en plein air is today
Many paintings are available for sale during the full duration of the competition and festival. Selected works are shown and available for sale during the Gala Reception and Awards Presentation, at the conclusion of the competition. This is your chance to purchase work by some of the top names in contemporary painting.
